The Alzheimer’s Disease & Related Disorders program will have the current evidenced-based information and tools that are necessary for you to care for a patient with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorder. This program will cover Behavior Management, Assistance with activities of daily living, Stress management for the caregiver, Family Issues, Maintaining a therapeutic environment for residents, Ethical issues and residents with Alzheimer’s disease.

The Human Trafficking program will have the current, evidence-based data and tools that are necessary for you to accurately identify and report known or suspected instances of human trafficking. This program will help you to understand the types, venues, and dynamics of human trafficking. Recognize risk factors, warning signs, and indicators of human trafficking that may be observed in adults and minors in healthcare settings.

Mental Health for Youth is designed to explore adolescent who is experiencing a mental health crisis. Panic attack, considering suicide or struggling with substance abuse, depression, anxiety, psychosis, eating disorders, AD/HD, disruptive behavioral disorders, and substance use disorders. We will cover Psychopharmacology, Communication with Family, Stress & Anxiety disorders, Mood disorders, Sexual Violence, Suicidal Thoughts & Behaviors, Anger, Aggression & Violence. The (Not Me) Educational Program
The (Not Me) educational program will focus on suicide prevention as a result of substance abuse and addictions. In this program we will discuss Vaping and the threats of our future generations and how it rewires your brain, Cocaine & Opioids Abuse and how it affects your heart, Alcohol Abuse and how it affects your liver, and we will discuss the Positive & Negative effects of smoking marijuana.
Suicide is a serious public health problem among all age groups. Far more adolescents have suicidal thoughts or attempt suicide and survive than those who die by suicide. This is the reason for the creation of the “Not Me” educational program. Being armed with education and support is the key to prevention.
Mental Health for older adults is designed to explore best practices and strategies to age gracefully in place. Case studies and interventions will be utilized to discover and wake up the senses and develop a healthy new prospective on life and aging in place. The various personalized case studies will include various topics related to mental health for older adults. We will cover Mental Health & Mental Illness, Psychopharmacology, Communication with Family, Stress & Anxiety disorders, Depression & Mood disorders, Sexual Violence, Suicidal Thoughts & Behaviors, Anger, Aggression & Violence.
